Creativity.
I'm an unapologetically knitting-obsessed and proud Canadian living in London with my son and husband, a lot of yarn, two spinning wheels and a little weaving loom. Passionate about craft - nothing inspires me more than working with and meeting the talented makers and artists in our industry.

Community.
Being a part of the knitting community and supporting yarn and fibre folk is very important to me. I've been fortunate to be able to show that support through volunteering for the Campaign for Wool and attending as many woolly shows as possible!

As one half of Yarn in the City (along with Rachel Brown of Porpoise Fur), I help to plan London's annual Great London Yarn Crawl, as well as a number of other knitting-centric events in and around London. We also put out the bi-weekly Yarn in the City podcast.

Communications.
Operating as Champagne Communications, I'm a sales representative for SweetGeorgia Yarns in the UK, and freelance in marketing and communications for other clients in the knitting, fibre and textile industry. My specialty is in digital and social media but I'm also a whiz at project management, strategy and seeing the big picture.

As entrepreneurs we all know how easy it is to let the "soft stuff" fall by the wayside - it's hard to find the time to do it all. But you don't have to. My strength is in helping you get organised so that you can show your business in the best light while you're running your business. Whether you want to do your communications yourself or have me do it for you or a combination of both, we'll come up with a plan that works best for you.

Collaboration.
It's been my priviledge to work with and provide support to some of the amazing brands and makers in our industry including SweetGeorgia Yarns, Soak, Inspiration Knits, Tangled Yarn, A Yarn Story, Knit With Attitude, Eden Cottage Yarns, The Fibre Co., Kettle Yarn Co., Porpoise Fur, and Kate Atherley.
