One of my favourite things about knitting (and actually, most of the fibre arts) is that I am constantly engaged by all the things there are to learn about the craft. Right now while I'm still a relatively new knitter, the world is my oyster with all the various techniques and stitches to try out and things to knit!
This is the first knitted toy I've done and if I'm honest with myself, it wasn't my favourite knitting experience. Although I should point out that is no fault of the designer or pattern. Toys are fiddly (who knew?), and I think the relatively small size of this little crab made it even more so.
Since I don't want to throw out the idea of never knitting a toy again, I'm open to suggestions of toy patterns to try. What are some of your favourites that you've knit and/or been really pleased with how they've turned out? Please post links with your comments - I always like having new patterns to add to my favourites on Ravelry!
