The beginning of any new week is hard. It's the getting up again in what feels like the wee hours, consuming massive amounts of coffee, and hoping that nothing has been forgotten at home when you've already left for the school run. (Forgot to brush the kiddo's teeth this morning. #mommyfail).
To ease into things, I often like to check out favourite sites and blogs and catch up on the previous week. A kind of previous week's wrap-up before the current week starts, if you will. Some of the fun things that crossed my computer screen last week:
How could I not include the very sexy yet wonderfully simple Little Cable Knee Highs that I was drooling over on the Purl Bee blog? Do yourself a favour and click the link to see the tutorial and some additional shots of these socks from all angles!
2013 is the Year of Natural Scotland. We're hoping to make it to Scotland later this year as a family, although unfortunately not as far as Shetland. Still, I'm ready to die from the cute over these ponies...
I've been thinking that I'm about due to pick up my crochet hook again and that urge is even stronger when looking at these whimsical little flowers by Petra over at Zoom Yummy. Don't they look delicious?
And since half-term is somehow already around the corner, I've been poking about on Pinterest looking for some fun kids crafts. I think this one (from The Gold Jellybean) will be a big hit with my little guy.
Enjoy your week!
