7 weeks and counting

One of the moms at my son's school mentioned this week that there are only six weeks left in the school year. What?! How did that happen?

Which just means that I may have to start panicking soon that there are now only seven weeks until our the start of our whirlwind summer adventure back in Canada.

Luckily, I have a new book for some warm season reading (and thanks to Birgit for the suggestion!):

Why yes, my Vodka Lemonade project is coming along nicely, thank you.

I also have a new knitting project, thanks to being easily distracted when Rachel told me there was a new issue of Knitty out:

The very beginnings of Etherial, with some more delicious SweetGeorgia yarn.

But it does mean that I'm going to have an awful lot to get done and organised before heading out.

And now my mind has just imploded while I've been writing a mental to-do list.

I think I might need to start a post-it note organisational system a la Yarn Harlot. While I'm thinking about that, I'll be having a lie-down.
