It’s hard to believe that Qing Fibre only exploded onto the knitting scene three years ago. Their super special speckled yarns that seem to magically change colour with each stitch took the yarn community by storm and now this London-based dye studio’s yarns are found not only in shops across London but all over the world!
What I really like about the team at Qing is that they are constantly challenging themselves to seek out a wide range of ethically sourced, natural yarn bases - including a brand new, naturally dyed cotton for those with allergies to animal fibres.
But for those who aren’t allergic to animal fibres, then luxury is king (or Qing!). From yak to baby suri alpaca, and mohair to merino, Qing Fibre yarns are a treat to work on the needles. The team from Qing Fibre will be bringing all of these bases to Make Joy in a variety of autumnal and winter colours - and many from the new collection that they’re working on right now!
Knowing how much everyone loves a new yarn launch, Qing Fibre will also be debuting their newest base, Verenita. Verenita is a super luxurious, cashmere and silk blended lace weight ideal for dreamy shawls and accessories, or the perfect special gift for that maker in your life!
