Introducing... the C&Q vlog!

Entering the category, “and now for something completely different…”, I’ve decided to do something a little scary this year and start a video blog, or vlog.

As I’ve been blogging on and off over the years and sharing various exploits and adventures on social media I’ve often found that I’d like to be showing more about what I’m getting up to than writing about it. As a marketer, I’ve also been really interested in seeing the rise of video as a means of information and entertainment consumption, and that how people are interacting with blogs has been changing.

On top of all that I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a lull creatively and getting back to photography and dusting off old skills like editing (I went to uni for film) has been a way to flex a different part of the brain and try to look at things from new angles and perspectives.

In Episode 1 I recap visits to two yarn shows: Unravel, and the Knitting & Stitching Show and talk about my experiences with each. One was great! The other, not so much. I talk about why and offer my top tips on making the most out of a visit to a yarn show, plus chat with folks at the shows, and show off some stash enhancement as well.
